Dear Mr. Anthony Morris,

What a blessing it was that ''maybe'' Jehovah increased the amount of chickens to 60 after a brother and his family attended a convention. What a true blessing Jehovah provided this family and any family that make sacrifices to make their conventions!

Where was Jehovah's blessing when a brother in our Kingdom Hall was killed in a car accident while driving home from field service? Where was his blessing when his wife had to move in with her daughter because she had no income to support herself? Where was Jehovah's blessing when a bus ran into a concrete pillar at a Florida airport last year and killed several Jehovah's Witnesses who were attending a convention in Palm Beach, Florida?

Too sick or injured but still made it to the meeting!

i once attended a two day special assembly with my gums bleeding after having 4 widom teeth pulled the day before.

i managed the two days by rinsing out my mouth all day long and placing cotton in my mouth.. one brother had back surgery the week before but attended a two day assembly by laying on a matress in the back of the assembly hall.

why he needed to be there i'll never understand!.

Another brother gave a 15 minute talk while his daughter was the hospital in a coma after a bad car accident. Why was he even there?

Did you ever attend a meeting while sick or injured? Did you ever see anyone at a meeting who in their right mind should of never been there?

Why JW's take on education is truly disingenuous

we've all waxed poetic about the jw views on higher education and how they truly stifled people trying to pursue an education.

but what did they offer as an alternative??!!.

at least mormons (who's theology is as equally fucked up as jws) had an accredited school in brigham young university that their people could aspire to attend.

The last assembly I attended ( around 2 years ago ) had 2 sisters give a dramatization about a High School counselor and a Jehovah's Witness sister who had to decide either to go to College or Pioneer. I will paraphrase as best as I can.

High School Counselor: ''Have a seat Karen and I will show you all the College applications I have for you.''

Sister: ''Thank you for all the work you have done.''

Counselor: '' I have an application from Harvard,one from Michigan University,and a couple from the East Coast.''

Sister: '' I have done alot of thinking and decided not to go to any College."

Counselor: ''Karen,you have a 4.0 grade average and scored very high on the A.C.T. and you would have no problem getting into any of these schools."

Sister: '' As you know,I'm a Jehovah's Witness and we believe that we are near the ''end times.'' I decided that I will go into the preaching work part time and maybe go to a 2 year school."

Counselor: ''You will probably get into these schools at almost no cost because of your 4.0 average and high A.C.T. scores and have a good career the rest of your life.These are great schools and will prepare you to land a good job.''

Sister: ''This world is passing by and may not be here any longer. I decided to enter the ministry work and Jehovah God will provide for me in the future."

Everyone applauded except me. That was really sad to see!

My mother wants to see my kids

i decided to call my mother more often at the request of my brother (the parental units have been driving him crazy and my calling more hopefully will decrease the craziness my brother has had to deal with).

so i called her last tuesday and the first thing that pops out of her mouth is she recovering from a weekend of babysitting her "substitute grandchildren" (her exact words and actually my nonjw cousin's children) since she doesn't get to see her own grandchildren.. wonderful .

there are reasons why i don't take my children to my mother's house.

My mother-in- law hasn't liked me from day one. She told me to my face that she never liked me and that she wished that my wife married her prior boyfriend . She's colder than ice.

I only say hello and goodbye to her. I have never called her. I never visit her home over the holiday's when my wife and kids are invited. She has been in the hospital numerous times. I have never visited, sent a card or called to see how she is doing.

My wife and I argue all the time about her mother. She will never understand why we dislike each other.

Your husband sounds like a wonderful man to let you decide if your kids can see your parents. He's not missing much when someone dislikes you for no reason and is not welcome in your parents home. Worse is that your mother bad mouths your husband.

Since your mom has no respect toward your husband you don't owe them the rights to see their grandkids!

The heartless Witness and his treatment of his two brothers at their aunt's wake!

my cousin by marriage had a wake for his mom last night.

he's a jehovah's witness and so are his cousins ( 3 brothers ) .

two of the brothers are disfellowshipped and the oldest brother serves as a ministerial servant.. i walk in the funeral home and see one of the disfellowshipped brothers sitting in the last row of seats.

My cousin by marriage had a wake for his mom last night. He's a Jehovah's Witness and so are his cousins ( 3 brothers ) . Two of the brothers are disfellowshipped and the oldest brother serves as a ministerial servant.

I walk in the funeral home and see one of the disfellowshipped brothers sitting in the last row of seats. He never got up from his seat . The second disfellowshipped brother sat in the break room all night and stood by the back door all night.

I make small talk with the middle brother by the break room. He tells me that he found out that his aunt died by a posting on his facebook page. He tells me that he's had no contact with his two brothers in years.

As we're standing by the break room, his ministerial servant brother walks in with his wife and proceeds to walk right by him. No hand shake , no greeting whatsoever. He walks right past his other brother that is sitting in the last row and sits near the front of the funeral home.

Around closing time, the two disfellowshipped brothers walk up to the front to pay their last respects to the family. The brother (who is a ministerial servant ) sees his two brothers walking to the front and proceeds to get up with his wife and walk out of the funeral home.

What a cruel and heartless organisation! Has it come to the point where shaking hands at a funeral is forbidden?

Which of these prayers will Jehovah listen to and give good things to those that ask? You already know the answer!

'' Jehovah, please let this company hire me since my benefits ran out and our family has no income to pay for rent and food!

'' Jehovah, please help the Faithful and Discreet Slave in their preaching and teaching work and help people learn the ''truth''. Help all the brothers and sisters that are physically and spiritually sick '' !

Weird "new world" artwork from the 2013 calendar

my mother-in-law has a strange obsession with calendars, and orders the society's calendar each year.

this year's calendar is especially weird.

it features images depicting future events - in particular, the society's vision of the new world order.. i've taken the opportunity to scan some of the images for you all to check out.. please note - there are captions for each of the images, but i don't have the english language version of the calendar so i'd rather just quote the scripture used so as not to reveal which country i'm in.. .

I noticed that they are wearing hard hats and safety straps! If they fall, could they suffer a broken leg? If they cut themselves and bleed, would they to be taken to a hospital? Can they suffer a concussion if they fell or got hit in the head with a 2x4? Can they fall to their death? Who would be the emergency room doctors? Where would they go for their training? Would the doctors work 80 hour weeks? Can they get fired for bad medical care?

Stop Putting Apostate Stickers On My Literature! They "Cost Lots of Money!"

"true story" the circuit overseer came to our kingdom hall and read us the riot act (local needs style) "magazines of this quality are not free, they cost money and we are not generating enough donations to defray the cost of the magazines(or running the top of the line printing presses) i get my ass out of bed to place literature in the laundray cleaning, coin opperated shops and some asshole puts his apostate stickers on our magazines.

do you know how hard it is to get up at 6:00 am and how expensive those magazines are costing the organization to print?

please stop defiling our literature, i dont post hateful stickers on your website so please leave my magazines alone.
